LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This page is a starter template for MailChecklist. Update it to reflect the actual email provider, hosting, analytics, retention rules, and applicable laws before launching the service.
1. Information we may process
Depending on the features you enable, the service may process temporary email addresses, incoming message content and metadata (such as sender, subject, timestamps and delivery status), technical logs, IP addresses, browser details, and support messages.
2. How information is used
Information may be used to deliver messages, operate and secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, enforce usage limits, and respond to lawful requests. Do not claim that information is never stored unless your infrastructure actually guarantees that.
3. Message retention and deletion
Before launch, specify exactly how long addresses and messages are retained, whether messages are automatically deleted, and whether backups or provider logs persist longer. Users should not treat a temporary inbox as a secure place for sensitive or confidential information.
4. Service providers
Hosting, DNS, email-delivery, storage, analytics, and security providers may process information on the service's behalf. List the actual providers and link to their privacy notices once selected.
5. Cookies and analytics
Describe any cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies used by the live site. This starter page does not establish which technologies your deployed site uses.
6. Security
We recommend access controls, encrypted connections, rate limits, abuse monitoring, and short retention periods. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's privacy
Define the minimum age for use and the process for handling information relating to children in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Add a working contact and an operational process for privacy requests.
9. International processing
Identify where data is hosted and whether it may be transferred to other countries. Explain applicable safeguards where required.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. For privacy questions, contact privacy@mailchecklist.shop after confirming that this mailbox is active.
